Eligibility
- Client must have valid disconnect notice and have current income
- Must not be on existing payment plan with utility company
- Eligibility is 1 time per year for same service
- Client will be responsible for paying any amount over $300 before the agency can pledge an amount
- If Client is on LIHEAP assistance, they personally must have made at least 1 full billed payment within the protected time or they are responsible for 1/2 of total due
- If no LIHEAP assistance, client must have made 1 full billed payment in last 60 days or client will be responsible for 1/2 due
