Description

Provides in-person tax assistance to anyone free of charge with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low-to-moderate income for the 2025 tax season. Free, year-round tax assistance is also available on the Internet. Taxpayers can post tax questions to online tax assistors by visiting the website.

**Appointment Only. Beginning February 1, 2025 Appointments can be made on the website or in person on Mon or Tue 9 am-12 pm. All clients must obtain and complete a tax preparation packet prior to their scheduled appointment. Packets are available at Senior Services of Central Illinois 701 W. Mason St. Springfield, IL during open hours at the reception desk just inside the main entrance. Clients that need to reschedule an appointment should call.
