Moultrie County, Illinois

Administers a wide range of programs covering standard probation and pretrial services. Programs are meant to enhance community safety while working with offenders.

Responsibilities:

- Monitoring, supervising, and providing guidance to offenders sentenced to probation, conditional discharge, or supervision by the Court.

- Enforcing the rules of probation to control the risk of offenders committing further crimes.

- Assisting offenders in establishing and achieving legitimate goals that lead them to become productive members of the community.

- Preparation of pre-sentence investigations.

- Operates a community service program.

- Networks with schools.

- Works with treatment providers and other facilities as necessary to guide the probationer through the supervision process.

- Operates special services that include adult and juvenile life skills programs, electronic monitoring, and drug testing.
