ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH SERVICES | VERMILION COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT

Provides environmental health services to the Vermilion County area. Services include investigating sewage discharges onto the surface of the ground or into waterways, inspecting sewage systems for home sales, investigating dumpsites, outdoor accumulations of garbage, and vacant, collapsing houses, complaints about food service establishments, and inspects and issues permits for permanent and temporary food service establishments. Will also provide sample bottles for collecting water for analysis, inspects wells for home sales, and collects birds suspected of having died from West Nile Virus for testing.
