Provides public health services to the Lucas County communities, offering a wide range of programs and support. Services include home care, health care programs for women and children, immunizations, mental health administration, early childhood development, and health promotion activities such as Matter of Balance, a fall prevention program, and Prevent T2, a diabetes prevention program. Routine general physical examinations are available to assess overall health and detect abnormalities, with a focus on prevention and screening. Homemaker assistance is provided to families experiencing disruptions due to illness, disability, or other challenges, offering support with household activities such as meal preparation, child care, and light housekeeping.
