Offers help and hope to people struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, panic, compulsions and other nervous symptoms and emotional problems. At weekly meetings, people learn practical coping techniques to manage negative thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors and replace them with healthy thinking and constructive activity. Meetings last two hours.
For Story County, IA, in-person meetings are Thursdays at 12 pm, at the First Christian Church (6th and Clark) in Ames, IA.
