Provides support from someone who has their own experiences with mental health challenges, or from a family member of a child with a mental health diagnosis. This help comes from a trained staff member. The support is focused on each person's individual needs. It may also include helping with services and speaking up for the person when needed. Acts as a mentor or guide to help someone on their path to feeling better.
