Provides assistance on a temporary basis for a limited time for basic needs that may include rent, lot rent, electric, water, medications, and funeral services. Ineligible if an eligible Veteran.
***County rent and utilities assistance is not distributed from the General Assistance office.
For Rent Assistance, applicants must call Jesse Cosby Neighborhood Center or Eastside Ministerial Alliance for help as they do the intake for General Assistance.
For Utility Assistance, applicants must call Jesse Cosby Neighborhood Center, Eastside Ministerial Alliance, or Operation Threshold for help as they do the intake for General Assistance.
