Provides services to individuals with a mental illness and/or a developmental, cognitive, or intellectual disability, to help develop skills that allow them to live, socialize, and work in the community.

Includes (but not limited to) the following services:

- Outreach to support or treatment services;

- Assistance and referral in meeting basic human needs;

- Assistance in housing and living arrangements;

- Crisis intervention and assistance;

- Social and vocational assistance;

- Arrangement for personal, environmental, family, and community supports;

- Protection and advocacy;

- Service coordination;

- Protective payee services.
