SASS (SCREENING, ASSESSMENT AND SUPPORT SERVICES) | EGYPTIAN PUBLIC AND MENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Provides mental health support services to children and youth. Services include crisis intervention, short-term stabilization where a child is at risk of self-harm, or harming others, individual and family psychotherapy/counseling, mental health assessment, case management and resource linkage assistance, and psychiatric services.

Eligibility
Open to youth under age 21 who are currently enrolled in a medical program through the Department of Healthcare and Family Services (including those enrolled in Medicaid Managed Care Organizations), or youth under the guardianship of DCFS while already hospitalized for psychiatric reasons, or youth enrolled in a medical program from the Department of Public Aid, or youth under 18 being considered for public-funded psychiatric hospitalization (Uninsured/Underinsured)
