Offers training and competition in 20 Olympic-type sports to persons, age eight or older, with intellectual disabilities. Year round program, training and competition are offered in different sports at various times throughout the year.
Unified sports, where teams have equal numbers of traditional Special Olympics athletes and non-disabled partners on the same team.
Develop new levels of self-esteem and confidence and accomplish greater levels of independence.
