Eligibility

- Adult Program clients must be 18 years of age or older, compliant with Selective Service Requirements, and authorized to work in the United States; Priority given to US Veterans; - Dislocated Worker Program clients must be 18 years of age or older, compliant with Selective Service requirement, and authorized to work in the United States; Priority will be given to US Veterans, laid off or terminated workers who are eligible for (or have exhausted) unemployment insurance, those who are unemployed due to a business closing, displaced homemakers, those who are formerly self-employed, spouses of a member of active duty Armed Forces who have experienced a loss of employment due to relocation or is unemployed and experiencing difficulty in obtaining/upgrading employment; - Youth Program open to ages 17 and under who meet employment eligibility guidelines

Description

Provides activities designed to increase employment, retention, earnings, and skills in the American workforce.

Provides guidance with job readiness, job search, work-based learning, and classroom training needed to secure and retain employment and become self-sufficient.

Works on assisting out-of-school and in-school youth prepare for employment and postsecondary education opportunities, attain educational and/or skills training credentials, and secure employment with career/promotional opportunities.
