24-hour medical supervision for each detox patient.  At the time of admission, the individual begins a constant process of monitoring, supervision, and support.  Once the individual begins to stabilize physically and emotionally, assessment of the need for further medical, social, and psychological services begins.  Detoxification is only the beginning of a progress effort toward recovery.
