24-hour crisis line for youth needing emergency assistance.

Emergency services include shelter program (short-term), Transitional Living Program (TLP), and Maternity Group Home (MGH) for up to 18 months. A variety of support services are provided for youth while in residence.

Require authorization of parent or guardian within 72 hours of placement for shelter placements and housing services.

Services include housing, all meals, transportation to school and scheduled appointments. Must be involved in daily residential activities including hygiene, meal preparation, scheduling activities, laundry, and facility upkeep.

The shelter ensures the provision of basic needs, counseling services, educational support, medical care, and resources to aid in recovery from trauma.

Also offered are therapeutic services to address behavioral, emotional, or substance use challenges. Additionally, the program fosters skills development and social interaction among peers, creating a supportive environment for healing and growth.

YOUTH SHELTER | FOUNDATION 2 CRISIS SERVICES

Provides an 8 bed facility licensed by the Department of Human Services that provides a safe, structured and nurturing environment for youth, ages 11-17, who are experiencing a personal or family crisis which necessitates that they live temporarily outside of their home. Non-system youth are accepted with parental consent. Court-ordered youth are referred by the Juvenile Court and/or the Department of Human Services. A comprehensive program of services is provided to youth and includes individual case management; individual, group and family counseling.

Provides protective placement and short-term care for children and teens experiencing homelessness, family conflict, or other crises. The shelter can accommodate up to 10 children at a time, serving both males and females.

Typically serves youth ages 9-15, and the average length of stay is approximately 45-60 days, ensuring each child receives stability and support during a critical period.

Goals are developed in collaboration with each youth's probation officer and/or state caseworker, to ensure continuity and progress.
