Open Door Mission's Timberlake Outreach Center is proud to offer expecting mothers and parents with children up to 12 months an abundance of resources. This is a program that empowers parents to choose life and enable them to keep their children.


This program provides resources to parents who qualify: Diapers, educational materials on parenting and breast feeding, as well as a consumer choice of a variety of other essential items.

The Winneshiek County Food Pantry provides food for people in need. Food baskets provide fresh, frozen, and non-perishable food items. In addition, non-food items such as diapers, formula, hygiene products, and cleaning products may be available. The supply given is based on need and size of the family. In-home deliveries can be arranged. Donations and volunteers are welcome.

General Clothing Donation Programs
Provides an allotment of 60-70 diapers once per month per child (per household) under age three. Diapers may only be picked up by the child's parent/legal guardian; photo IDs are required.

If a child does not qualify to receive diapers, the parent/guardian may pick up small packages of diapers for the child during normal St. Juan Diego Center pantry hours (subject to availability).

Supply of diapers and wipes for clients.

The Allamakee County Relief Office offers a diaper program for families in need.

Provides up to 50 diapers a month.

Clayton County Food Shelf provides food to those in need. Items available include boxed and canned food, diabetic food items, and baby items (when available) including diapers, formula, and baby food. There are usually have some perishable items on hand including: milk, bread, fresh produce in season, ground beef, venison, and eggs. Use of the pantry is limited to once a month; this may vary depending on circumstances. Home delivery is possible when necessary; call for information. The pantry is also available by appointment early mornings, late evenings, and weekends (call for an appointment). This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential and requires proof of address and identification. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs.
