EMERGENCY SHELTER | LAZARUS HOUSE

Emergency housing offers a safe haven for persons in need. The shelter provides a warm bed, three meals per day, shower and laundry facilities, personal hygiene items, clothing, and supportive services to link homeless individuals with case management. Guests may also ask for help with GED tutoring and employment services.

FOOD PANTRY - TEFAP PROVIDER | GREATER AREA PANTRY

Provides food, personal and household items to people in need. Items typically available include canned goods, fresh vegetables, frozen beef/chicken/venison, as well as household and personal items. The food pantry is coordinated by 12 local congregations.

This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential and requires proof of address and identification. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs.

Provides a bathroom, everyday essentials (such as food, water, blankets, clothing and hygiene items) and access to a caseworker to help those that are homeless rebuild their lives. Also provides clients with access to computer stations, phone booths and chargers, job assistance and housing navigation.
