The BOOST re-entry program enrolls participants age 18+ who are currently incarcerated in, or returning to, Woodbury County, and are set for release in 20-180 days. Participants being released will come from Woodbury County Jail, Woodbury County Electronic Monitoring, and Iowa Department of Corrections 3rd Judicial (RTF). The goal of this program is to help these participants gain employability and reduce recidivism.

Sioux City BOOST Re-entry is an Official Grant of the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance.

Offers a structured residential environment for both male and female offenders. The duration of the the program averages approximately four months with a one year legal limit.

Provides the following services to recently released individuals from Correctional or Detention Facilities:

- Help obtaining identification and school records
- Employment assistance
- Counseling
- Anger Management
- Substance use, evaluation referrals
- Transportation assistance
- HIV Counseling and Testing / Care and Prevention

Provides a reentry Services to those who are leaving jail or prison.

Provides a community-based residential corrections facility that provides supervision, housing and programming for adults ordered to reside in the facility as a condition of their probation, parole, early release from prison, or who are ordered to serve a prison sentence for drunk driving. The facility is operated by the Sixth Judicial District Department of Correctional Services.

Offers a 9-month program designed for individuals affected by the Nebraska prison system who wish to rebuild and strengthen their family connections. Each unit lasts 5-6 weeks, and participants can enroll at any time during the year.

In-person classes occur weekly in Lincoln and Omaha. Space is limited. A meal and child-friendly activities are provided.

Pre-Release education / re-entry preparation for men, women, and youth incarcerated and provides services for reentry and community re-establishment. Community support for families affected by incarceration through prevention and intervention program initiatives.

Volunteers are recruited and trained initially as pen pals, then developed into mentors upon the participant's release from prison. Volunteers are also trained to be mentors for at risk youth in the Juvenile Justice system, public schools, residential treatment centers, and aging out of foster care.

R.A.W. D.A.W.G.S. youth corps gang prevention program provides a positive alternative to gang membership for boys ages 5-13 through military type drills, developing positive social and academic skills and personal validation and self development. These positive personal attributes are demonstrated by positive male role models who lead the program. Call for information.

A community based organization for formerly incarcerated people and their loved ones. Services offered:

- A safe, stigma free environment.

- Peer mentoring.

- Assistance with employment searches.

- Job readiness training.

- Advocacy for individuals with felony convictions.

- Family reunification.

- Service referrals.

GoMad is a 19-week program, for 18-24 year olds, who spend 20 hours/week learning building construction skills and various academic subjects. There is a $200/week stipend for scholars' commitment to the program.

Provides assistance to formerly incarcerated individuals and their families with wraparound services and case management focusing on a 72-hour transitional plan, employment, and individualized coaching support.

Returning Citizens United program offers pre- and post-release services to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated individuals through a faith-based adult mentoring program. Wraparound services are not limited to the program participant, but integrates the individual's family and community.

Additional services include peer support group, life skills training, employment skills training, substance abuse classes.

The facility also offers guidance and information to assist residents in coping with their adjustment to life in the community following release from a correctional facility. The facility is operated by the Sixth Judicial District Department of Correctional Services.

Provides transitional services to formerly incarcerated individuals.

Services include, but are not limited to:
- Transitional housing
- Counseling
- Vocational assistance (including job skills training and career counseling)
- Life skills development (including budgeting, health and wellness information, parenting training, etc.)

In some cases Neuro/Bio-feedback can be provided to help those with damaged or toxic brains. This portion of the program is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and can begin after a person is stabilized with Neuro/Bio-feedback.

Offers help to those getting out of prison reenter into the community by helping them to find employment, clothing and food. Also offers banking basics classes and will take clients to get social security cards.
