Through a vast network of volunteer mentors and support groups, Catholic Charities' Jail & Prison Ministry program supports formerly incarcerated individuals as they work toward positive re-entry into family and community life. Program Coordinators and volunteer mentors meet with participants to provide the needed support to resist relapse into old habits and lifestyles.
The program helps participants establish positive relationships, experience healthy social activities, and connect with community resources that can aid in finding work, affordable housing, and meeting basic needs.

The facility also offers guidance and information to assist residents in coping with their adjustment to life in the community following release from a correctional facility. Mentors provide one-on-one job coaching, self and skill development and employment retention services. Assist with transportation, work supplies, hygiene needs, tutors, financial literacy, bank accounts, and in obtaining industry recognized certificates. Will have opportunity to attend job site tours, Union Hall tours, trade seminars, trade workshops and apprenticeship prep classes.
