Iowa Division of Labor is responsible for enforcement of laws and regulations pertaining to OSHA (Enforcement/Compliance) and OSHA (Consultation and Education), inspection of elevators and escalators, amusement rides, inflatables, wind turbines (towers) and boiler/pressure vessels. The Division of Labor also handles issues dealing with child labor, wage payment and collection, workers, contractor registration, asbestos licensing and licensing of professional boxing/wrestling/mixed martial arts events.
