Head Start is a federally-funded program that serves children from birth to age five and pregnant women, offering a school readiness program in addition to comprehensive services to children and their families who meet income guidelines.

Provides a pre-kindergarten program for students ages 3-5. Services are available free of charge to eligible students living within district boundaries. Pre-k staff determines eligibility and student acceptance into the program and placement is based on student needs. Program is designed to increase student opportunities, help prepare for future achievements, meet individual needs and goals in eight domains of learning. Including language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, physical development and health, fine arts, foreign and primary language, social and emotional.

Developmentally appropriate care and family support to prenatal mothers and low-income families with children, birth to 3 years old. Information and referral to community resources as well as health, nutritional, and social activities. Socializations are held twice a month.
