Northeast Iowa Community College provides year-round, day and evening, credit and continuing education classes; also supports training opportunities for local businesses. Class instruction is offered face-to-face as well as over the ICN (Iowa Communication Network). Cresco Center includes a computer lab, three classrooms, a health lab, ICN room, multi-purpose shop lab/classroom, commons area, conference room, and welding lab. The Center offers a variety of services to Cresco and the surrounding communities including course registration (for any of the NICC sites and campuses), placement testing, intake advising, administration of Distance Learning Exams, specialized business training, and continuing education classes.

Serves 11 Central Iowa counties and provides full-time and part-time educational programs up to two years in length in 70 different career education programs, 13 paraprofessional career programs for which college credit is given, a full range of freshman and sophomore college courses, adult and continuing education programs, including career short courses, adult basic education, high school completion for students of post high school age, and many other part-time classes throughout the district.
