Adult basic education classes are provided for adults wanting to improve their skills in reading, writing, and/or math. These classes also prepare students for testing to obtain their High School Equivalency Diploma.

Offers adult basic education designed to help adults strengthen skills in reading, writing, and math.

ABE for ESL includes instruction in advanced-level reading and writing, along with curricula to help students master English. This is a stepping stone designed to help students grow in areas that positively impact their personal lives.

ABE for Pre-GED includes instruction in reading, writing, and math. To enroll in a GED program, individuals must be at a 9th-grade equivalency. For adults who are not, ABE for Pre-GED is a bridge program to help students move into the GED program.

Strives to assist adults 17 years of age or older in acquiring knowledge and skills necessary to earn a GED, to improve English language skills, and to transition to higher educational or vocational training. Services offered:

Adult education and family literacy classes are non-credit and provide a range of basic skill instruction, English as a Second Language, GED preparation, and in some cases, high school credit. Classes are informal and instruction is individualized. Classes may be held in a variety of facilities, including churches, industrial plants, schools, libraries, and housing projects.
