HiSET and High School Completion Center (testing and prep).

Adult Literacy program provides opportunities for adults in need of literacy skills and refresher basics in reading, writing and math. Adult Literacy classes are offered at various locations in and around Des Moines and in cooperation with local schools and organizations.

Northeast Iowa Community College provides year-round, day and evening, credit, recertification, and continuing education classes; also supports training opportunities for local businesses. Class instruction is offered face-to-face as well as over the ICN (Iowa Communication Network). Waukon Center includes three traditional classrooms, health lab, computer lab, ICN (Iowa Communication Network) room, office space, and a conference room. The Center offers a variety of services to Waukon and the surrounding communities including admissions information, placement testing, program information, intake advising, course registration, financial aid information, administration of distance learning exams, career coaching, continuation education courses, specialized business training, and HSED classes.

Offers a Graduate Psychotherapy Training program for students completing graduate level programs in mental health related fields who are seeking an intensive psychotherapy training experience. This is a one-to-two year clinical experience. Schedules and hours are determined subject to the needs of each student's academic program, personal needs and Center needs and resources.
Offers a variety of classes available to students and adults. Subjects covered include: art, swimming, home and garden, writing/journalism, food & nutrition, cooking, health & fitness, music, parenting, finance, do it yourself, sports, etc. Online classes are also available. Class schedules are available online and at all public library locations. Classes are held at local schools.

Free short-term career training program for Iowa residents who are unemployed and underemployed needing gainful employment.

Financial assistance may include program tuition and books, required fees, materials and other services. The program provides resources to Iowa residents who would otherwise not be able to afford career training.

Assists qualified individuals pursuing a career in occupations in the health-care industry such as Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Direct Care Professional, Pharmacy Technician, Phlebotomist, EMT/Paramedic, LPN, Medical Assistant, Surgical Technician, RN and Medical Laboratory Technician. Most of the individuals served by the grant will have barriers to education and employment.

Northeast Iowa Community College provides year-round, day and evening, credit and continuing education classes; also supports training opportunities for local businesses. Cresco Center includes a computer lab, three classrooms, a health lab, ICN room, multi-purpose shop lab/classroom, commons area, conference room, and welding lab. The Center offers a variety of services to Cresco and the surrounding communities including course registration (for any of the NICC sites and campuses), placement testing, intake advising, administration of Distance Learning Exams, specialized business training, and continuing education classes.
A community college offering technical and transfer degrees. Students at NICC may choose courses, degrees, diplomas, or certificates in achieving educational objectives.

The District administers the Walnut Creek Campus, an alternative high school for students who have dropped out, are frequently absent, are earning failing grades, or who are otherwise deemed appropriate for the alternative school's special programs.
