Scholarships are available to income-eligible individuals planning to attend college. Scholarships can be used for tuition, books, and fees associated with enrollment.

All scholarships will be in the amount of $1,000 and can be used for tuition, books, and fees associated with enrollment. Three scholarships will be awarded.

Students who participate in free monthly lunch-provided workshops and other activities may be eligible for limited financial assistance. Students must be currently enrolled at WNCC and apply for the program. The program is co-located with the TRIO Student Support Services program.
Resources that help students and parents research colleges, explore career options, find scholarship resources, and complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). All services are free and most are by appointment to provide families with one-on-one assistance.

Students and parents also learn about college planning and financial aid through webinars, college fairs, and financial aid programs. See our events calendar for programs.

Creates college planning materials and distributes them to students and parents across the state.

Provides eligible customers with a scholarship for post-secondary education at an accredited Illinois institution.

Provides AFAS education grants, scholarships, and loans to children and spouses of Airmen and Guardians.

Offers scholarships, amounts are dependent of funding levels, to income eligible individuals who are planning to attend accredited Illinois University, community college, technical or vocational schools. Preference is given to applicants of racial or ethnic minorities.

Provides scholarships to children who reside in Johnson County, Iowa and who will be 0-5 by September 15, 2024 but will not be entering kindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year. The maximum scholarship amount is 80% of private pay tuition rates for infants/toddlers OR $500 per month and $6,000 per year for preschoolers.

Need-based Scholarship Program - Provides approximately $1.55 million in scholarship funding each year to Nebraska's nonprofit public and private colleges. The colleges then award the funds to eligible students who demonstrate financial need, which may include middle-income as well as low-income students.

Reaching Your Potential Scholarship Program - Students who face significant obstacles to higher education are the target of this need-based, renewable scholarship program which provides approximately $100,000 in scholarships each year. Applicants are referred to the program by community agencies and colleges statewide.

College Access Grants Program - Provides funding for Nebraska high schools that seek to develop or enhance college access activities within their school. The program's goal is to increase the number of Nebraska students going to college. Every two years, EducationQuest provides grants to approximately 15 high schools and commits funding to each school for four years. Funding amounts depend on the high school's enrollment.

Helps low-income people attend community college tuition-free while providing wraparound services, such as food and diapers or clothing distributions, to help them focus on their studies.
Provides funding for tuition, books, and fees for students attending full or part-time anywhere in the United States. Funding is need based. GPA requirement is 2.0. Graduate and post-graduate support is considered for full or part-time students for a maximum of four semesters, and the GPA requirement must be met as specified by the program of study.

This program provides needs-based tuition assistance for approved short-term continuing education training programs for in-demand occupations. Since non-credit programs are not eligible for federal financial aid, this program is designed to bridge the funding gap for individuals that meet program and income guidelines to complete short-term training programs.

Tuition assistance for this program is based on financial need and the ability to complete a program and gain full-time employment. If participants receive food assistance, they may qualify to participate in free training. The program was developed to help individuals learn skills for in-demand jobs that pay a higher wage.

Free, comprehensive coaching services to all eligible military spouses. Career coaches offer career exploration, education options, information about credential and licensing requirements, employment readiness resume help, and networking opportunities.

My Career Advancement Account Scholarship provides up to $4,000 in financial assistance to eligible military spouses for the pursuit or maintenance, including continuing education courses, of a license, certification, or associate degree necessary to gain employment in an occupation or career field.
