Provides school supplies to households in need.

Offers a Back to School Giveaway each August. The program provides free school supplies and backpacks to the K-12 students of the Ankeny Community School District and those who attend school in Ankeny. Provide to children who are in foster care or who have been adopted from foster care. It provides school necessities for back-to-school such as backpacks and school supplies for the children. This program also provides back-to-school supplies to children year-round who have unexpectedly entered the foster care system. Children placed in foster care outside of the event may email agency to request school supplies.

Call for application dates. Appliation period usually begins in July.

Backpacks will be distributed in early August.

Offers school supplies for the children of Adams County entering grades K-12. Registration is in July, with distribution just before school starts.

Provides backpacks filled with school supplies to area children to ensure a successful start to the school year.

School backpack and supply distribution for grades pre-K-12. Proof of school enrollment for each child is required, regardless of location.

For 2025, distribution is Friday, August 8th through Saturday, August 9th at the following locations:

- The Salvation Army Citadel Corps (3738 Cuming Street, Omaha) - August 8th-9th at 9 am-12 pm and 1 pm-3 pm, or until supplies have been exhausted. Must visit in person for distribution only; backpacks will be distributed in the gymnasium.

- The Salvation Army Kroc Center (2825 Y Street, Omaha) - August 8th-9th at 9 am-12 pm and 1 pm-3 pm, or until supplies have been exhausted. Walk-up distribution only. Enter the Kroc Center campus off of 27th Street (on the east end of the property).

- Westroads Mall (10000 California Street, Omaha) - August 9th at 10 am-1 pm, or until supplies have been exhausted. Drive-thru distribution only. The distribution will take place in the mall's northeast parking lot, just north of JC Penney.

Provides school supplies and one school uniform at no cost.

Free school supplies and backpacks are available to children in need via the Ramblin' Rose bus, and at the regular Effingham location. The bus travels to towns in the seven-county area to provide the supplies.

School clothing is also available from the bus, or families may choose to receive a voucher and shop for their clothing at Second Hand Rose Resale Shoppe in the Effingham Catholic Charities location.

Provides school supplies for school age children.

Provides funds for a DeWitt County student to attend Richland Community College in Decatur. The student may use the funds for tuition, textbooks, or other costs associated with their education.

Back to School Giveaway distributes backpacks filled with school supplies for Head Start -12th grade students from low income households. Free supplies for the first 1,500 kids.

GIVEAWAY LOCATION: the 15 DMARC Food Pantries around Polk County will have school supplies to hand out for the bash. Backpacks will be available at the food pantries starting Fall 2025.
