Offers the following health services to Webster County residents:

Care For Yourself: Early detection of breast and cervical cancer for women age 50 and over, including mammograms and Pap tests. Must meet income guidelines. Call (515) 281-7689.

Family Planning/Reproductive Health: Offers confidential services for adolescents and adults to help guide decisions regarding reproductive healthcare needs. Clinic hours are Wed 8 am-4:30 pm, Thu 8 am-4:30 pm (by appointment only), Fri 8 am-12 pm.

i-Smile: Dental services for children ages 0-21, including dental screenings, preventive fluoride, dental care education, sealants to children in 2nd through 8th grades, and help making dentist appointments.

Maternal Health: Prenatal program providing information and education to pregnant women on having a healthy pregnancy and getting ready for their baby.

Senior Health: Services for seniors 60 years of age and older, including health education, blood pressure screenings, foot clinics, and the I-Smile Silver program.

WIC (WOMEN, INFANTS, CHILDREN): Nutrition information for pregnant women, new mothers, and mothers with children under age 5. Can provide $50 or more a month for groceries, even if already employed and/or receiving food stamps; must be Medicaid-eligible.

Provides dental and oral health screenings, oral health education, nutrition education relating to oral health, fluoride varnish applications and a referral to a dentist for comprehensive oral health services. The program targets pregnant women and children under age 21 who are living in Polk or Dallas Counties.

For children under 21 years old, who are without dental insurance and meet income guidelines.

Offers to coordinate access to dental services for people with disabilities, the elderly or those medically at risk. If you cannot afford dental treatment and you have no dental insurance please call for an application or go to website to download an application. Emergency dental care is not provided.

Provide infrastructure building and enabling services. Infrastructure building activities include partnerships with tobacco control community, connections with Quitline, health equity, distribute information on IA maternal mortality, referrals for prenatal care (medical/dental), partnering with breastfeeding community, linking persons to breastfeeding resources, provide information to persons interested in breastfeeding, work with community of importance of safe sleep, connect families with resources for cribs, education on importance of oral health during pregnancy and working with dental/medical provides.

Other services offered include presumptive eligibility for pregnant women and medical/dental care coordination.

Clayton County Visiting Nurse Association provides services for income-eligible children. Services include: Referrals to community resources and medical or dental care, EPSDT - Care for Kids care coordination and informing, Free lead testing and immunizations for children, Age-specific health education and individual follow-up on health care needs and referrals, Help to access professional dental care, Age-specific oral health education and screening, Dental care coordination services, Referrals to Maternal Health services, Assist with finding transportation, Developmental Screening for children ages 2 months thru 5 years, and Case management for children with identified needs. Clayton County VNA also identifies, coordinates, and provides needed services/referrals for proper growth and development for children 0-3 years with area Early ACCESS Program. The hawk-i Program offers Presumptive eligibility services for Medicaid or hawk-i income eligible children 0-19 who need immediate and temporary health or dental coverage.

Free health care services include medical, dental, dermatology, physical therapy, chiropractic, mental health, vision, hearing, and spiritual care. Specialty Clinics services such as allergy and asthma, orthopedic and diabetic services by referral only. Patients are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis.
