The Iowa Sudden Infant Death Syndrome Foundation is a statewide organization providing emotional support to SIDS and SUID families, educating professionals and the general public about SIDS and safe sleep practices, and funding medical research into the causes of SIDS. Other services include providing free safe sleep resources and education, free grief resources, and a place for community of SIDS/SUID families. Call for dates and times of support groups.

Provides information, peer support and educational materials for those affected by Marfan Syndrome Loeys-Dietz syndrome, Vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (VEDS), and other genetic aortic and vascular conditions. The Foundation also supports research on these conditions all over the world through our research grant program and GenTAC, our research arm. Individuals and families can get connected and get the information they need through our Help & Resource Center, which can be reached through Marfan.org/ask.

Families and friends of individuals with Down syndrome who are committed to promoting awareness and inclusion provide the following services:

- Helps families adjust to the birth of a child with Down syndrome.

- Provides support for expanded inclusive educational, recreational, social, vocational, and residential opportunities for individuals with Down syndrome.

- Provides informational and educational opportunities to families and interested persons, as well as public awareness activities to dispel myths about Down syndrome.

- Offers a wide variety of new books with information from newborn to adult through The Down Syndrome Library. (Located at the Bloomington Public Library.)

- Provides assistance to those with Down syndrome through the CIDSO Enrichment Fund; members may have access to funds to help afford/support people with Down syndrome's participation and support in communal activities.

Provides support for individuals with Down Syndrome, their families, friends and educators by hosting recreational and educational events, information and referral to medical and dental resources, advocates on a legislative level for those with Down Syndrome and provides scholarships for those wanting to attend national conferences.
