Offers a breastfeeding support program for pregnant women and new mothers who have questions or concerns about breastfeeding. Services include prenatal breastfeeding classes, inpatient visits, outpatient visits and breastfeeding support groups.
Provides education and support for pregnant and post-partum women to ensure a successful breastfeeding experience. Services based on the WIC Breastfeeding Model for Peer Counseling by utilizing peers to encourage and support mothers to breastfeed their infants via mother-to-mother support. Peer counselors are paid paraprofessionals with WIC.
Community education including a complete listing of Bryan Medical Center educational programs for the community, and special education events.

Ongoing programs include Breastfeeding Basics, a class for expectant couples planning to breastfeed their baby; Essentials of Childbirth; Infant Massage, which teaches parents techniques to help a baby relax, sleep better and relieve gas and symptoms of colic; and Super Siblings, a class for brothers/sisters preparing them for a new baby in the family.

Provides a nurse who is assigned as a case manager to every pregnant or parenting mother who is on public aid or low-income. The case manager guides them towards social and educational services they may need to have a healthy family.
