Offers vaccinations available for adults, children, and adolescents. CG Public Health is responsible for updating vaccine information as it becomes available, and contracts with the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) to provide vaccines through their Vaccine For Children Program. CG Public Health works to address barriers, educate providers on vaccinations and provide vaccine recommendations for school-age children. CG Public Health also conducts annual vaccination audits with schools and childcare centers to review compliance with vaccine requirements.
Flu shots, fall and winter and COVID-19 immunizations. Other adult and child immunizations provided include tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, polio, HIB, hepatitis A & B, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, infant pneumococcal disease, and rotavirus infant diarrheal disease. Meningococcal Vaccine for persons aged 11-18. HPV (Human Papilcomaviirus) Vaccine for Children 9 -18 years of age.
