Designed to assist Social Security Disability (SSI/SSDI) beneficiaries with the transition from Social Security Disability Benefits to work. It provides employment supports and services to help reach work goals.

RAMP also has a certified Community Partner Work Incentives Counselor (CPWIC) that can assist individuals with understanding their benefits and the changes that will occur once employed.

Offers personalized employment supports to obtain, maintain, or advance in employment. Examples of support include goal setting, resume preparation, job search assistance, resource navigation, benefits education, healthcare advisement and work incentives counseling.

Provides work training services for individuals with intellectual, developmental, learning, medical, or physical disabilities as well as substance use and mental health disorders. These work training activities are paid work and non-competitive. Participants are provided with opportunities to explore their personal vocational interests, develop skills, and receive assistance in obtaining competitive community employment.

Provides Employment Specialists to help individuals identify the best work environments based upon one's gifts, strengths, and interests that align with an employer's needs and desires. Services include job assessments, development, coaching, and long-term support between the individual and the employer.

The two main goals of these services are to give the individuals the opportunity to earn competitive wages and allow these wages to be earned in an integrated work setting.

Provides vocational training for persons who require a higher level of care than is available through other Hope Haven programs. Individuals receiving services must have a primary diagnosis of a mental disability and must be certified by the Iowa Foundation for Medical Care to be in need of this level of service.

Provides work training services for individuals with intellectual, developmental, learning, medical, or physical disabilities as well as substance use and mental health disorders. -- Discovery: Helps to learn about a client's strengths and interests through observation, conversation, and spending time with clients to help find jobs that fit their goals. Family and friends are also interviewed to learn about a client's likes, dislikes, and strengths. Two home visits and a community visit are conducted.

-- Job Development: Employment Specialists teach social and communication skills needed to be successful at work. They support with touring businesses, job shadowing, and finding a job match. Also provide help creating a resume to give to potential employers. May begin with volunteering so that clients can gain experience and grow skills.

-- Employment Support: After a client is hired, Employment Support develops accommodations and supports for the job. Employment Support forms a relationship with the employer and supports the client to expand job roles. Provides initial job coaching for 2-4 weeks.

Works with disabled individuals to find employment by assisting them with job readiness skills, benefits counseling, job development, and case management. The program works with local business, as well as state and federal agencies, to ensure that the services are all encompassing.

Offers a resource center for self-help job seekers. Can also provide inter- and intra-state employment placement information, referrals to training, labor market information, job search assistance, resume assistance, and veteran employment services. Proficiency testing and testing for state employment is available.
