Positive daytime activities while school is not in session. Programs include: Schools Out Fun Days, a daytime program for children during parent-teacher conferences, holidays, and spring break; Summer Fun and Fine Arts, a summer program that provides care weekdays during the summer months, in which days are filled with activities such as swimming, various field trips, computer labs, and fine arts, with breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack served on-site daily; and After School Program, a program for children after school which includes snacks, swimming, games, homework help, and crafts. Transportation is provided to the YWCA.

Maintains parks and recreational and cultural facilities. Includes The Centre Family Recreation Facility, swimming pools, pavilions, zoo, tennis courts, and other amenities at local parks.

Offers after school programs at Lewis Lemon Community Center (LLCC) and Washington Park Community Center (WPCC).

- LLCC After School Program: Enrichment program offered to Lewis Lemon students. Activities include homework help, board games, arts and crafts, gaming systems, and the opportunity to participate in organized basketball and football teams. A daily snack is provided. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the 1st Century Program, which offers help in reading, math, and science. The students of this program must be teacher recommended.

- LLCC Teen Evening Program: Offers open gym, gaming systems, and more. Staff keeps teens active and safe.

- WPCC After School Program: Provides an after school program for youth. A snack and boxed dinner are provided.

Offers a child development center for those in need of child care services. Can also provide services to children with disabilities, whether they are physical, mental or health related.
Enrollment in The Haven After-School Academic Enrichment Program is open on a continuous basis. The Haven is an after school program for children in grades K-5 that offers literacy enrichment and S.T.E.A.M. activities along with recreation and extracurricular activities. Academic time occurs in the schedule four out of five days of the school week and recreational time occurs when the academic time is completed.

Child care for children ages 6 weeks-12 years. Preschool classes are available for children ages 3-4 and 4-5. Also offers a school age activity program.

Helps to improve classroom readiness of students by addressing issues contributing to chronic absenteeism and the incidence of risky behaviors of high school aged youth.
