Provides affordable child care for working parents. Financial assistance is also available for qualifying familes. Applicants may download a financial assistance application from the website or pick one up at the YMCA front desk. Kids in grades K-6th can register for the After School program. Kids will receive a healthy snack and participate in supervised activities that keep them active and productive after the school day ends, including swimming on some days.  Kids can walk to the after school program or be dropped off by the Le Mars School Bus Route; the bus arrives at the YMCA's front entrance at 3:45 pm. Children attending the Gehlen After School program can go into their library after the school day ends.
