Offers to empower, support and advocate for foster, adoptive and kinship families across Iowa. IFAPA provides support, training and resources to promote safety, permanency and well-being for Iowa's children. Information and referrals are provided as well as parenting materials and skills classes. This is a private, non-profit organization. This is an affiliate of the National Foster Parents Association.

Provides free and confidential services to pregnant women, their families, and individuals with young children. Services include pregnancy testing, pregnancy counseling, limited ultrasound, ongoing pregnancy support, referrals for community support services, support after an abortion, the Earn While You Learn Program, fatherhood mentoring, and a maternity home.

Also, provides childbirth education classes to prepare prospective mothers, birth partners, and family members for the labor and birth process, covering topics such as anatomy, breathing and relaxation techniques, delivery options, and postpartum care.

Additionally, resources and guidance are available to support economic self-sufficiency, including vocational evaluation, training in marketable skills, and referrals for employment opportunities tailored to those facing emotional challenges, substance abuse issues, or disabilities.

Provides pregnant and parenting young people (under 25) with support services and parent education.

Includes home-based support and education about healthy early child development, parenting skills, and positive life skills.

Offers educational courses which are free to the public. Each month a different topic is explored. Vouchers to ATLAS's Christmas Store or School Supply drives may be earned by attendees for active participation.

Parent support and parenting education.

Provides free and confidential services including pregnancy, early detection ultrasounds, and sexually transmitted disease (STD's) testing along with peer counseling, and parenting classes.

Parenting programs for parents of children 2-5 years old, 6-16 years old, ADD/ADH/ADHD children, and Spanish speaking parents - La Crianiza Practica Le Los Hijos, Ninos.

Classes held in various locations.

Provides educational opportunities for immigrant families, including English and computer classes and parenting skills workshops.

Offers a pregnancy and sexual health resource center. Services include free pregnancy tests and information on free STD testing, sexual health education, parenting classes, adoption referrals, medical referrals, mentoring and spiritual support. Services may also include a baby boutique that provide baby furniture, clothing, and more. 

Provides a parent education and support program for individuals or families with children. Services include parent education, positive parenting strategies, child development, skills development, and more. Transportation and childcare services may be provided at no cost. 

Provides face to face or virtual coaching, teaching, and role modeling to assist the family unit through supervised visits between parents and children to promote parent-child attachment.

- Still We Rise/Healing Family Violence: The program paves a holistic pathway for trauma-informed care for family violence prevention and intervention.

- Parenting with a Purpose: An initiative designed to provide information and support to empower parents to recognize the need for nurturing the development of health relationships with their children.
