Y Weight Loss is designed for individuals looking to lose weight through education, personalized goal setting, and small, sustainable changes.

Cancer support groups.

After breast cancer support group:

-- Group for women who currently have breast cancer or women who are in remission.

Caregivers support group:

-- For caregivers and loves ones, this group provides support and education for support persons of our cancer patients.

Kids Club:

-- This group offers special support for children ages 5 to 13 whose parents or other close family members are diagnosed with cancer. Led by specially trained healthcare professionals, Kids Club helps improve communication between the child and their diagnosed parent and answer children's difficult questions about cancer. Kids Club is a one-night event from 5:30 pm to 7 pm and dinner is provided.

Livestrong at the YMCA:

-- A twelve-week, small group program and membership designed for adult cancer survivors at the Norm Waitt Sr. YMCA in South Sioux City, NE. This program fulfills the important need of supporting the increasing number of cancer survivors who find themselves in the transitional period between completing their cancer treatment and the shift to feeling physically and emotionally strong enough to attempt to return to their normal life. The program is conducted outside of medical facilities to emphasize that Livestrong at the YMCA is about health, not a disease.

Multiple Myeloma Support Group:

-- This group provides special support and education for patients diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a type of blood cancer, and their loved ones.

One-on-One Support for Cancer Survivors:

-- Meet with a social worker, dietitian, or our patient advocate to talk about specific questions or needs during your cancer journey such as emotional needs, nutritional needs, spiritual needs.

Patient-to-Patient Support:

-- Connect with another patient with a similar diagnosis.

Peer-to-peer program connects newly diagnosed patients and their families with trained volunteers who have experienced blood cancer firsthand and understand the process.
