Offers Behavioral Health Intervention Services that are supportive, directive and teachable interventions that are provided in a community based environment, most often in the family home. The services are designed to improve the individual's level of functioning and quality of life when living with a mental illness. BHIS assist individuals and families to learn age-appropriate skills to manage behavior and regain control of their lives.

Offers Behavioral Health Intervention Service (BHIS) to children and their family who have a mental health diagnosis. BHIS services are designed to be the behavioral complement to therapy services. BHIS addresses skill deficits that, if improved upon, will increase the person's ability to function successfully at home and in the community. These skills can include, but are not limited to: social skills, communication skills, decision making skills, anger management and coping skills.
Offers outpatient mental health therapy which involves talking with a trained professional about conditions ranging from depression and anxiety to relationship conflicts and career frustrations. Therapy provides ways to express feelings, understand patterns of thinking, gain perspective on past events and current relationships, set goals, and clarify dreams for the future.

Stepping Stone Family Services provides Therapy at their West Des Moines office but also provides school based therapy to all schools in Urbandale, in addition to Perkins and Carver Elementaries in the Des Moines school district.

The Training Advancement Skills in the Community (TASC) Day Habilitation program is an organized program of activities designed to foster the acquisition of skills, build positive social behavior and interpersonal competence, greater independence and personal choice. Day Habilitation services are designed and developed in a manner that is individualized and focused on enabling the member to attain or maintain their maximum potential. TASC defines the scope of these services and supports based on the identified needs and desires of the person served. Services offered enable and enhance the member's: intellectual functioning, physical and emotional health and development, language and communication development, cognitive functioning, socialization and community integration, functional skill development, behavior management, responsibility and self direction, daily living skills, self-advocacy skills or mobility.
