Psychiatric Medical Institute for Children: a PMIC facility for emotionally disturbed children between the ages of 10 to 17 and is operated by Orchard Place, a private, non-sectarian, non-profit corporation. Orchard Place can accept children of average or potentially average intelligence who evidence a desire for help and a willingness to make a commitment to treatment. No child is denied admission on the basis of race, religion, creed, or residence. Includes individual therapy for each child, recreational and group therapy, medication monitoring, pediatric and nursing services, family therapy; and therapeutic living relationships to enable living with self and others. Salvation Army MHR Fontenelle

State licensed residential program that offers support to individuals who need assistance transitioning back into the community after a psychiatric crisis. Temporary residence is provided for (28) days at two locations (32 total beds, 16 at each location). The intent of the service is to support the participant throughout the transition or break, provide linkages to needed services, and assist in stabilization and transition back into the community.

Program components include the following services: periodic safety checks and monitoring, medication monitoring and education, assistance with activities of daily living, limited transportation, and overnight accommodation including food and lodging; linkage to psychiatric services, referrals to needed community services and supports including, but not limited to, behavioral health services, substance abuse treatment services, and community housing; and 24 hour staffing.

Offers a residential treatment facility for male youth. All programs are aimed at redirecting delinquent, negative behaviors to positive, socially acceptable patterns. Specific programs include: COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM serves male students 12-17 years of age; the length of stay is typically 4-6 months (flexibility to extend to 9-12). Students learn how to hold themselves and others accountable by developing the ability to confront and appropriately deal with negative behaviors. COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM is for male students 14-17 years of age, who are in need of a short term intervention. SEXUAL OFFENDERS PROGRAM serves males students 12-17 years of age, who have demonstrated sexually aggressive or inappropriate behaviors. DAY SCHOOL for student experiencing behavioral difficulties within their public school setting.
