Provides onsite, in-person intervention for individuals experiencing a mental health crisis, including youth and adults, that dispatches mental health professionals to homes, schools, ERs, or other public places where a mental health crisis is occurring. Response time is within 60 minutes of MCAT's dispatch.

Services include:

- Developing safety plans, making referrals, and scheduling follow-up services with individuals to avoid hospitalization.

- Assessing individuals to determine the need for a higher level of care.

- De-escalating crisis situations.

- Arranging transportation to a higher level of care as needed.

Broadlawns Medical Center

Provides observation and stabilization to adults experiencing a mental health crisis which cannot be safely addressed in their current home setting, but who do not require a higher level of care. Protection and advocacy, service coordination and transportation are also available. The Crisis Stabilization Residential Service is limited to five consecutive days.

CRT interventions allow individuals to be cared for in a manner more suitable to their needs, while enabling law enforcement to respond more quickly to other calls.
