Provides a program that offers equestrian therapy service will work with therapeutic benefit. Individuals with a variety of special needs can be served through Sports Therapy Service. Iowa Thunder Empowerment provides mental well being services mainly for youth but will serve adults as well. Tri-States Thunder Vets is a service for veterans. There are volunteer opportunities including leading and side-walking with horses, no experience needed.

Rainbow Riders Therapeutic Horseback Riding Center

Provides equine assisted services to individuals with physical disability, cognitive delay, or a mental health diagnosis. Offers programs designed to meet the unique needs and abilities of each rider. The therapeutic riding program focuses on using horses to improve physical strength, balance, coordination, and posture, while the un-mounted horsemanship program provides opportunities to learn about horse care, grooming, and handling. Also offers equine-assisted learning and therapy sessions, which use horses as co-facilitators to help individuals develop social and emotional skills.

Empowers individuals of all ages and abilities to reach their full potential through equine assisted activities. Riders facing physical, mental, social, and emotional challenges are provided activities using horses to help them integrate their physical and emotional wellness in an environment of true acceptance and encouragement as they focus on their abilities rather than disabilities.

Sibling and parent participation is encouraged as it allows for family bonding. Family members must be at least four years old and have a rider who takes part in the therapeutic horseback riding program.

- Art Therapy to promote healing and communication through creative expression Therapists also provide individual therapy, family therapy, trauma-informed care, and interventions for anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, grief, school challenges, and life transitions.

Treatment is coordinated with families, schools, healthcare providers, and community partners to ensure holistic, effective support.
