YOUTH DOG PROGRAM | CIRCLE OF CHANGE DOG PROGRAMS

Offered to at-risk youth and focuses on building life skills and promoting mental wellness through a 24-week dog training program. Participants are taught foundational to advanced dog training skills, while also engaging in self-reflection and activities to improve their social-emotional health. The program is broken into three 8-week sessions, with each session focusing on different aspects of personal growth, such as building trust, confidence, and emotional awareness.

VETERAN AND FIRST RESPONDER DOG PROGRAM | CIRCLE OF CHANGE DOG PROGRAMS

Provides a supportive, trauma-informed space where veterans and first responders can work with dogs on mutual healing and connection. The classes are flexible, stand-alone, and drop-in friendly. The program uses dog training and peer mentorship to help participants develop coping mechanisms and adapt to life's challenges, especially those stemming from service-related experiences. The sessions are structured to be a "no-judgment zone" where participants can feel safe. The program's objective is to cultivate resilience, enhance social-emotional health, and significantly reduce suicide risk for veterans and first responders.

ANIMAL SHELTER | ASSISI ANIMAL FOUNDATION

A no-kill animal shelter that provides shelter, care, and suitable homes for animals when possible. Other programs include:

- Animal Assisted Therapy: brings pets to residents of nursing facilities, assisted living, Alzheimer's Centers, and residential disability centers.

- Dog Bite Prevention Education: visits schools and other groups to teach children the basics of animal behavior and how to avoid getting bitten by dogs and cats.

- Continuing Care: provides shelter and care for pets if their owners become unavailable to care for them.

- Arm Chair Adoptions: Individuals who are unable to care for a pet in their home can "adopt" a pet that lives at the animal shelter, and the individual receives letters and photos of their pet.

EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING | LYONHEART EQUINE ASSISTED LEARNING

LyonHeart Equine Assisted Learning partners horses and youth in strategic learning opportunities which empower youth to overcome social, emotional, behavioral and educational challenges. Horses connect with participants in a way that builds confidence, leading to a positive mindset and incredible outcomes.

LH-EAL is a non-riding facility. Facilitators are trained educators and volunteers who ensure safety of youth and horses. Programs include: HorsePowered Math, Reading & Life Skills.

Teamwork activities are available for businesses and groups of all ages.
