Serves adults who are affected by substance abuse. Offers Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medication, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a whole-patient approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Also provides medically safe withdrawal and assessment. Requests for adult chemically dependent civil commitments are done for Polk County residents.

Provides inpatient and outpatient programs. Services include overcoming substance use problems, from unhealthy alcohol use to life-threatening addiction, treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, self-harm and suicidality, family/relationship problems, OCD, and confusion/memory loss.

Outpatient counseling:

-- Up to six hours of individual or group counseling each week while youth live at home, attend school, and share in family life.

-- Counseling focuses on communication, decision-making, drug education, leisure education, life skills, stress management, self-esteem, and relapse prevention.

-- Youth and their families are encouraged to attend family programs.

Residential Treatment:

-- For young people who need a structured and supportive environment to maintain recovery, and are unable to achieve sobriety independently as an outpatient.

-- Treatment occurs in a gender-specific, structured environment.

-- Daily counseling and activities focus on addiction and recovery, relapse prevention, life skills, communication, decision making, anger management 12-step/self-help, goal setting and achievement of goals, and meditation.

Residential and Outpatient (IOP) Rehab Center. Services include:

-- Initial assessments and evaluations.

-- Residential and Outpatient treatment.

-- Partial hospitalization.

-- Opiate-specific treatment.

-- Medically monitored detoxification unit.

Provides residential care for women, pregnant women, and women with children. Mothers can live with their children on campus to focus on their recovery and attend treatment programming.
