Provides a place for air conditioners and/or fans to be donated to those in need of help. All donations are collected through local fire department locations and given to Impact Community Action Partnership for their Air Conditioner/Fan program, which works to help those who do not have a fan or air conditioner in their home. For more information about getting help with an air conditioner or fan, please reach out to Impact.

Hope Ministries Thrift has two locations that accept donations of clothing, household goods, furniture and more. Donations can be dropped off from 10 am-6 pm Donation pick-ups are available, call for more details.

Offers free pickup of qualified refrigerators and freezers. The appliance must be in good working condition, plugged in and empty at time of pickup. The incentive for this is $50 per working appliance, up to 4 (2 fridge and 2 freezers per account).

- Performs a valuable community service by diverting reusable materials from landfills and providing these products to the public at affordable prices.

- ReStore accepts a variety of donated items from contractors, suppliers, organizations, and individuals.

- Habitat provides free pick-up of items to be donated with in Sangamon County, keeping those items out of the landfills.

Decorah Community Food Pantry provides free food including canned products, meats, produce and dry goods; household items including cleaning supplies, paper products; and personal hygiene products may available. Donations of products and cash accepted. Individuals and families may visit once a week. People select their own items amount based on family size. This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential and requires proof of address and identification. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs.
