Offers free work attire for residents who are rejoining the workforce and need specific clothes to begin their new job. Donations accepted.

Also provides and accepts donations for personal needs (shampoo, deodorant, etc).

LAUNDRY SERVICES | FRESH FOR LEARNING

Provides students with free laundry services including soap to wash their clothing. Students are able to wash and dry two baskets of clothing for free. Program is on a first come, first serve basis. Students and parents are able to secure a spot by signing up online.

OPEN HANDS FOOD PANTRY - TEFAP PROVIDER | OPEN HANDS FOOD PANTRY

The food pantry is open only on Tuesdays 1pm-5pm. Provides food and personal grooming supplies for people in need. Donations of food and grooming supplies appreciated. This is a participating TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) food pantry. Enrollment into TEFAP is confidential. Individuals participating in the FoodShare, School Nutrition Program, WIC, or Senior Meals programs may participate in TEFAP without impacting their ability to qualify for those programs. Must meet income guidelines.

Decorah Community Food Pantry provides free food including canned products, meats, produce and dry goods; household items including cleaning supplies, paper products; and personal hygiene products may available. Donations of products and cash accepted. Individuals and families may visit once a week. People select their own items amount based on family size. Offers a boutique shopping experience at resale prices. Donated items are either sold to earn revenue to support the shelters, or donations are given directly to the shelter's clients.

Offers clothes for adult men and women of all sizes as well as shoes, coats, hats, gloves and other warm clothes. Open to the public.

DONATIONS ACCEPTED include seasonal clothing, coats, rubber gloves, towels, blankets and bedding, personal care, first aid supplies, cereals, eating utensils, books, magazines, cards, games and silverware. Drop off anytime Monday through Friday.

Some of the items offered include non-perishable food, household products, personal care items, baby care items, proteins, and a variety of dairy, produce and bakery items. Also offered is children's clothing to those families in need of help.
