Provides food and personal care items free of charge to Grimes individuals and families struggling with food insecurity. Some of the items offered include non-perishable food, household products, personal care items, baby care items, proteins, and a variety of dairy, produce and bakery items. Provides weekly access to food boxes, sized for each individual or family. As often as possible, fresh produce, cleaning supplies, and hygiene kits are also available.
Offers pre-made boxes with an assortment of non-perishable food items such as pasta and sauce, peanut butter, jelly, cereal, canned fruit and vegetables, mac-n-cheese, rice, beans, and other miscellaneous items.
Patrons may also fill their own box if desired.
