The Closet Door program is focused on the needs of the homeless community in downtown Omaha. Anyone is able to ask for clothing, basic hygiene products, and other essential items.

Accepts donations of any household items that will help a family to "start over" in a new apartment: bed frames, mattresses, dressers, living room furniture and kitchen items are the first concerns of most clients. Also needed are: computers, microwaves, blenders, mixers, coffee pots, irons, toasters, toaster ovens, countertop electric grills and TVs

Provides donated items to low-income families and individuals. On most shopping days, available items include clothing, shoes, personal care items, furniture, and household goods. As supplies allow, diapers, formula, children's car seats, strollers, etc. may be available.

Food pantries providing an emergency supply of food to families and individuals lacking the resources to satisfy the basic nutritional needs for themselves and/or their families. This location allows families to do their own shopping in the market.

Individuals served by Care Corps may be eligible for vouchers for clothes, hygiene products, bed and bath items, and other household necessities at no cost.

Food Pantry - Provides pre-packaged food boxes for pick-up at the pantry during regular pantry hours. Grab-n-Go perishables available while supplies last when the pantry is closed.

Mobile Food Program - Distributing shelf stable and non-perishable food in communities that have limited food resources for individuals and families at no cost.

Pantry Donations - Accepts pantry donations of food, hygiene products, cleaning supplies, paper goods, diapers, and paper bags year-round. Donations may be brought to the St. Juan Diego Center. Call for more information regarding donations or to host a donation drive.

Offers to resell used clothing, furniture and household items at affordable cost to benefit Animal Lifeline of Iowa. Donations accepted.

Provides free clothing and household items, when available, to those in need. Can also offer some formal wear for events such as weddings or dances.

Accepts donations of new or gently used clothing during regular open hours. Donations can be dropped off in the garage which is located in the alley.

Accepts donations of household items, food, small appliances (toasters, toaster ovens, coffee makers, etc.), bedding, towels, kitchen/dining utensils, etc. (No clothing, mattresses, or furniture.)

Provides a place for air conditioners and/or fans to be donated to those in need of help. All donations are collected through local fire department locations and given to Impact Community Action Partnership for their Air Conditioner/Fan program, which works to help those who do not have a fan or air conditioner in their home. For more information about getting help with an air conditioner or fan, please reach out to Impact.
