Offers library services to the Alden community and surrounding area. Individuals can check out books, audio books, large print books, graphic novels, magazines, newspapers and DVDs as well as access to the Hardin County Newspaper Archive. Programs and classes for all are available at the library. Can also offer faxing service, notary service, computer use and access to internet/wifi.
Offers a variety of media (books, movies, music, ebooks, experience kits, magazines, etc.). The library's peer learning events and classes support learning from birth, through student-life, and beyond. Access computer terminals, reservable meeting rooms, and the Create Space. Enjoy databases, live-tutoring, and streaming services with your library card.
Provides lending of books with a library card. Other services include access to a computer to copy, print or scan, fax service and book clubs.

Provides books of all types including large print and books on CD. Carrying over 25 magazine titles. Inter-library loan services available. Also for check-out: DVDs, videotapes, overhead projector. Meeting room with TV and VCR, DVD; satellite dish and in-house computers. Copier, FAX service and Internet available. Special programs: e-books and WiFi. Homebound Service--for our patrons who are unable to come to the library on their own due to injury, inclement weather, or age (this service is available to patrons that live within city limits). Offers preschool story hour, teen programs and adult programs.

Information and entertainment resource for all ages; specializes in serving as a popular materials library, community activities center, formal educational support center, and independent learning center.

Adult Services provides answers to questions by telephone and in person, collections of books and media on a broad range of topics, and recreational reading and literacy materials. Classes and programs of interest to adults.

Youth Services provides informational and recreational materials and programs for children from birth through 12th grade, and their caregivers. Collection includes materials in a variety of formats, including books, DVDs, CDs, and more. Programs and services include toddler and preschool story times, seasonal reading programs, a parent/toddler program, book talks, group tours, and classes and programs of interest to youth.
The public library provides access to information. Items that may be borrowed from or used in the library include books, audio tapes, large print books and other materials. Offers eBooks and audio books for download to digital media. The library also offers Children's Story Hour and various adult programming. Computer access, 24/7 Wifi, printing, faxing, and study spaces are also available to patrons.
