Designated dual-diagnosis/co-occurring mental health & substance abuse treatment facility. Gateway is able to provide treatment to those with substance use disorder, with or without a mental health diagnosis.

Substance use treatment options vary by location, but may include:

Offers to perform evaluations and treatments that have been court ordered. Group programming is available for mental health, DUI, and substance abuse. Specific treatments for trauma and other difficulties are provided by staff who are specialists in their respective disciplines.

Provides DUI assessment and evaluation, available when referred. Remedial Alcohol/Drug classes and counseling services are also provided.

Offers a Substance Abuse Program which helps those affected by alcohol or drug abuse learn new ways to cope with life while overcoming their addiction. Alcohol/drug assessments are available to determine the severity of the abuse.

Provides counseling services and support groups which are available for the family and friends of individuals that are affected by alcohol or drug abuse to aid them in coping with stress and day-to-day problems inherent in being involved with a person suffering from addiction.

Provides adolescent school-based services, which offer individual, group counseling, and crisis intervention to adolescent drug and alcohol users.

Substance abuse evaluations assess an individuals involvement with alcohol/drugs and how this use has affected one's major life areas. Upon completion of this evaluation process, a referral to the treatment modality most appropriate to the clients needs is made.

Adult Outpatient Treatment is designed to expose clients to the tools necessary for making responsible decisions regarding the use of alcohol/drugs. Issues such as the disease concept of alcoholism, physical effects of alcohol/drugs, denial and defense mechanisms, and the effects on family members and among those addressed during the treatment process. Group meets Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30-7:30 pm.

Extended Adult Outpatient Treatment program participants meet three times a week for two hours per session for eight weeks and is followed by an individual aftercare group that meets on Wednesday evenings at 5:30 pm. The program consists of a combination of education, group, and individual sessions. AA and/or NA attendance is necessary in addition to the treatment hours. Individual sessions are provided as part of Aftercare planning and based on the individual's need.

Aftercare Services provides structured group therapy on a weekly basis for individuals that have completed treatment with any agency. The focus of this group is recovery issues. Meets every Wednesday evening 5:30-7:30 pm.

Discover Program is an early intervention modality for adolescents who are or have the potential for developing an abuse pattern of chemical use and have issues such as self esteem, decision making, peer pressure, and help with communication skills.

DUI Assessments are completed to determine an individual's educational and treatment needs.

DUI Remedial Education class educates clients on the effects of alcohol/drugs, including the physical effects, the disease concept of alcoholism, DUI laws, and alcoholism as a family disease; meets on four consecutive Monday evenings from 5:30-8 pm.
