Maintains and provides access to official documents, including real estate records (mortgages, deeds, contracts, assignments, releases, plats, surveys, and easements), articles of incorporation, partnerships, state and federal tax liens, military records, and vital records such as birth, divorce, and death certificates (Polk County only). Issues and maintains marriage licenses, ATV, boat, and snowmobile licenses/renewals, and serves as a Passport acceptance facility with photo services.

Provides a cohesive partnership among the communities and Fire Departments to reduce the number of fire injuries and deaths, by providing evaluation, education, and redirection assistance to the children who exhibit fire setting behavior at no cost to the families affected. Trained providers will connect a child (or youth) to appropriate resources in the community, this can include fire safety education or professional counseling services when necessary. Offers youth and adults programs in disease prevention and health promotion along with group exercise classes and personal training. The aquatics program is offered to residents as an additional avenue to maintain good health.

Maintains county parks and recreation areas and provides hunter safety classes, camping, fishing and boating information. Outdoor recreational opportunities are available through county parks and outdoor wildlife areas.

Federally funded supplemental food and nutrition education program intended to improve the nutritional status of eligible pregnant, postpartum, and breast feeding women, infants, and children up to the age of five. Includes family case management.

WIC participants receive ongoing nutritional assessments, medical assessments, and vouchers for nutritious foods intended to supplement their diet. WIC foods are individually determined for each participant.

Chlamydia and gonorrhea testing.

Provides 24-hour emergency medical services. Also offers a full range of care from general health to the detection and treatment of more complex conditions for all ages.
