The length of the program is individualized to a person’s specific needs. Individuals typically meet about 20 to 24 hours per week (four to five hours per day) in a structured setting for a few weeks.

Group counseling allows for connection and opportunities to develop healthy coping strategies and learn from others navigating similar challenges.

Offers guided trail rides to anyone interested in riding horses. Unguided trail rides are offered for those who board horses at the Jester Park Equestrian Center or for those who want to bring their horses to enjoy the trails at Jester Park. For guided trail rides, there is a minimum age requirement of 8 years and older, which minors must be accompanied by an adult. All riders must be physically able to mount and dismount their horse from a mounting block under their own power and take basic riding instruction. All riders must wear a JPEC ATSM approved helmet. All trail rides, whether guided or unguided, are walk only.
