IMPACT Community Action Partnership – Warren County
Accepts in-person locations (Des Moines, Ankeny, Boone, and Indianola) accept donations of personal hygiene items & diapers/wipes. All locations except for Indianola accept non-perishable food donations as well. Cash donations are always accepted.

Saint Marks United Methodist Church
Offers a Christmas sit down dinner for anyone in need at the church on December 25, 2025, from 12 pm-2 pm or meal delivery from 11 am-1:30 pm. Individuals and families must call and live the area of West of Edgewood Road, north of Williams Boulevard, east of Linn-Benton County line and south of F Avenue for delivery.
Delivered meals will not be left if no one answers the door.
University of Illinois Extension - Stephenson County
Offers to help children in grades 4-12 develop knowledge and skills. Services include learning about citizenship, leadership, cooking, arts and crafts, mechanics and technology, horticulture, agriculture, and other subjects. To teach young people about these subjects, the 4-H program uses the learn-by-doing method of instruction.

Offers companionship and personal care services tailored for individuals needing assistance at home.
Companionship Services include in-home companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errand running and grocery shopping.
Transportation assistance includes trips to recreational activities, 24-hour care availability.
Personal Care Services include assistance with bathing and personal hygiene, support with mobility and transferring, incontinence care, oral hygiene assistance, feeding and toileting support.

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach - East Pottawattamie County
Offers a program for parents and youth individuals ages 10-14 to work together and build relationships. Participants will practice skills, play learning games, and do family projects in highly interactive sessions. Sessions are designed to increase family bonding, build positive communication skills, and solve problems together.
Volunteer Fox Valley
Provides a web-based volunteer resource center that links volunteers with area nonprofit organizations in need of assistance. Interested volunteers may seek out opportunities that fit their needs and follow organizations to see when an opportunity arises.
The program is an initiative of Fox Valley United Way.
Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services Division of Public Health
Federally funded program that pays for office visits associated with Pap tests, pelvic exams, clinical breast exams and lab fees. Age appropriate mammography is covered, as well as a limited number of diagnostic tests. EWM provides screening and diagnostic tests, public education, professional education and training, surveillance, evaluation and quality assurance activities.
Offers free or low-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings for those between 21 and 64 years of age.
Many women are eligible for free or low-cost breast cancer screenings (clinical breast exams and mammograms), and cervical cancer screenings (Pap test and pelvic exams). For those between 35 and 64 years of age, the program also provides heart health (blood pressure) and diabetes (blood glucose and cholesterol) screenings.
