NAMI Family Support Group is a peer-led support group for any adult with a loved one who has experienced symptoms of a mental health condition. Gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar experiences.

Hearing Voices/Special Messages is a support group for individuals with this unique experience. It is lead by peers who have lived experience with this.

Client assistance grants provides limited financial assistance for adaptive equipment, removing barriers in the home, and provides scholarships for special programs.

Tech Tools, a developmental technology library, provides adapted toys and devices to people of all ages with individual and physical disabilities at no cost to families and professionals. Libraries are located in Omaha, Gretna, Lincoln, Norfolk, Grand Island, Fremont, and Kearney.

Family Focus is a series of events throughout the year designed for the entire family unit bringing families facing similar challenges together and providing the opportunity to draw strength and knowledge as well as relax and socialize.

Peer support groups for adults who have lost a loved one; focus is on healing and rebuilding, as well as strategies to meet challenges. On-going, 6-week programs offered at three locations.  Call for details.

Serves families in need by bringing free, nutritious dinnertime meals directly to conveniently located public places and serving them food-truck style. Family Meals of Hope will run each weeknight – except for holidays – during the summertime.

Crisis team (Engagement Specialist and Crisis Counselor) provide mobile crisis response. Services include on-site counseling, mental health evaluations and assesses the need for psychiatric hospitalization.

Services include:

- Animal Cruelty investigations on animals residing within the city limits of Aurora.

- Barking dog complaints.

- Investigation of animal bites.

- Provide pet adoptions of pets housed at the facility.

- Removal of road killed animals from the streets of Aurora.

- Removal of stray cats or dogs within city limits.

- Talks to groups about being safe around animals, responsible pet ownership and proper pet care.

Helps individuals who suffer from substance use disorders to overcome their cravings and increase their chances of total recovery.

Offers counseling, group therapy, and individualized treatment plans that are tailored to client needs.

Provides a youth residential center, youth therapeutic treatment center, youth emergency shelter, teen parenting treatment center, and a community youth shelter. Services may include professional counseling services (school-based counseling, crisis response, mental health awareness and training) and substance use services (intensive outpatient program, DUI services, DUI court ordered evaluations).
