North Central Behavioral Health Systems - Princeton Office

Provides counseling services for both individual treatment and group work. It can be focused on a specific issue or focused on broader patterns of thinking and behavior. Both require an individual to learn new, healthier ways to think and interact.

Online counseling option also available. An online session is conducted the same as an in-person session, with the exception of never having to leave the home or office. The format is face-to-face, in real time, over a computer.

Infinity Health - Osceola

Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in Osceola, where anyone in a mental health crisis can go to get help. Services provided include the following: Observation Services - Twenty-three-hour crisis observation and holding services for individuals who need short-term crisis intervention in a safe environment less restrictive than hospitalization. This level of service is appropriate for individuals who require protection or when an individual’s ability to cope in the community is severely compromised and it is expected the crisis can be resolved in 23 hours. Stabilization Services - are short-term (less than five days) services designed for voluntary individuals who are in need of a safe, secure environment that is less intensive and restrictive than an inpatient hospital in which to resolve the crisis. The individual is involved collaboratively in all aspects of crisis stabilization services including, but not limited to, admission, treatment planning, intervention, and discharge. The involvement of family members and others is encouraged.

Miracle Flights

Free commercial airline tickets to families in need of specialized, distant medical care and/or second opinions.

Flight support is provided to child patients (age 17 and younger) at no cost to the family, as many times as necessary. Flight programs include domestic travel to U.S. treatment facilities, and to train/retrieve a service dog.

Faith Works Pantry

Distributes shopping bags filled with all the fixings needed for a complete Thanksgiving dinner to families with financial need in the community, including a gift card to buy a Turkey at Walmart.

For Thanksgiving 2025, the Meal Bag Giveaway is held on Saturday, November 22nd, from 8 am until supplies run out. The event is located at the FaithWorks Pantry, South Entrance, at FaithWestwood.

Provides one Meal Bag per household. Recipient must be present to receive a bag (no proxies). Bags are given out on a first come-first serve basis, so it is recommended to arrive early.

Northwest Center Against Sexual Assault - CARE Center of McHenry County

Medical advocacy is available 24 hours a day at hospital emergency rooms. Whenever a survivor arrives at the hospital for treatment, the hospital calls the hotline and an advocate is sent out to sit with the survivor. The advocate offers emotional support, provides information on sexual violence, and gives any necessary referrals.

Legal advocacy is available 24 hours a day wherever needed. Advocates can support a survivor at the police department or help a survivor with a case that is currently being prosecuted.
