Visits may be in-person or virtual.

Provides education and consumer assistance designed to facilitate enrollment of county residents in the Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace through the In-Person Counseling Program.

Access to health insurance through the Illinois Health Insurance Marketplace is one of the many changes in the health care and health insurance fields made possible by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). People in need of assistance due to language barriers, technology disadvantages, or a lack of understanding of health insurance can arrange to meet an In-Person Counselor to assist them.

Provides support, resources, and lessons for first time/expecting parents. Clients earn 'credits' that they can use to 'purchase' new infant clothing and items.

- Maintains a trained staff that teaches, communicates, and engages in activity with children and families

- Offers a daily routine designed to meet the developmental needs of the growing child

- Provides nutritional meals and snacks

- Provides activities within a curriculum framework and offers age appropriate learning experiences

- Works with parents and families to develop a partnership to support children

Recycling services with four locations for free drop-off of paper, cans, and bottles. Includes one location for free periodic events to drop-off of electronic items, shred confidential documents, and to collect paint, motor oil, and other household chemicals. Also provides recycling education in schools and recycling technical assistance to businesses.
