Specializes in providing assistance to individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families for a full range of life and family issues, including couples problems, depression, anxiety, childhood and adolescent behavioral issues, trauma, and grief.

Staff are also available to provide education seminars or specialized group counseling programs on site to any local organization, school, church, or business; topics include communication, conflict resolution, parent training and education, child and adolescent groups, marital enrichment, and anger management.

Family resource program to support parents in educating and nurturing their children. The program provides parents with opportunities to move toward self-sufficiency by working with other community organizations. Health and mental health services are also provided to participants.

Program helps parents better understand their child’s stages of development with individualized visits in the home. The weekly visits are 90 minutes in length and are designed to meet the needs of each family. Staff will assist families in planning activities that encourage the child’s growth. Social activities will be held twice monthly to provide the opportunity to interact with your child and other families.

Unemployment Insurance benefits assist individuals who are unemployed through no fault of their own. Benefits are paid from the Nebraska State Unemployment Insurance Trust Fund. The fund is supported solely by a special tax on employers. Unemployment claims are filed online at NEworks.nebraska.gov.

Operates as a charitable organization that does not provide direct services but facilitates community support through various programs. Administers the 2-1-1 Information and Referral line to connect individuals with needed resources, manages the Sprout Into Reading program and the Community Clothes Closet through the Women United group to support literacy and basic needs, and offers a free online volunteer portal to match community members with nonprofit organizations requiring assistance. Additionally, provides support to local Community Volunteers Active in Disaster (COAD) and engages in activities that promote the allocation of resources to human service programs within the community.
